How FindDermat reviews specialist profiles

FindDermat reviews submitted professional and clinic information before a profile is published. We explain what that review covers so patients can make informed decisions without treating a directory listing as a medical endorsement.

What we review before publication

Professional information

The submitted name, specialty, qualifications and medical-council registration number are reviewed for completeness before publication.

Practice information

Clinic name, location and patient contact details are reviewed so visitors can identify and contact the listed practice.

Manual publication review

A submitted profile remains pending until a FindDermat administrator reviews and approves it for the public directory.

What “profile reviewed” means

The listing passed FindDermat's manual publication review. Required profile fields were submitted and the listing was approved by an administrator before becoming publicly searchable.

What it does not mean

FindDermat is not a medical council or certifying body. Publication is not a guarantee of availability, conduct, treatment quality or outcomes, and it does not replace checking the applicable official register.

How to check a dermatologist’s registration in India

A FindDermat profile review is not a substitute for checking the applicable official medical register. Patients can complete the following checks before booking:

  1. 1Ask the clinic for the doctor's full name, registration number and registering medical council.
  2. 2Search the official register and match the doctor's name and registration number.
  3. 3Check that the listed qualifications and specialty are consistent with the official record, then confirm current clinic details directly.

Information supplied by doctors and clinics

Qualifications, experience, services, consultation details, clinic timings and contact information may be supplied by the doctor or clinic. These details can change. Patients should confirm important information directly with the clinic before booking or receiving care.

Corrections and concerns

If a profile appears inaccurate, outdated or misleading, email hello@finddermat.com. Include the profile link and the information that should be reviewed. FindDermat may update, suspend or remove a listing while a concern is assessed.

Frequently asked questions

Does FindDermat verify every dermatologist?

FindDermat reviews the professional and clinic information submitted for a profile before publication. A reviewed profile is not the same as certification by a medical council or membership of a professional association.

What does “profile reviewed” mean?

It means a FindDermat administrator reviewed the submitted profile information before approving the listing. Qualifications, services, timings and other profile details may be supplied by the doctor or clinic and can change over time.

How should I check a dermatologist’s registration?

Ask the doctor or clinic for the registration number and council, then search the National Medical Commission's Indian Medical Register or the relevant state medical-council register. Match the name, registration number and recorded qualifications before booking.

Does listing order mean that FindDermat recommends one doctor over another?

No. Inclusion or position in the directory is not a personal medical recommendation, certification or guarantee of treatment results.
